Wholegrain Naan Bread
Go the extra mile next time you make a curry and try out these wholegrain naan breads. Though they require kneading and proofing time, the recipe itself is straightforward and can be prepared in advance. The dough is very sturdy and can be frozen or refrigerated.

Total hands-on time is about 25 minutes, but dough needs to prove for 90 minutes.
Balls of dough can be frozen. Assemble up to step 6, then wrap individually in cling film and freeze for up to 3 months. Allow to defrost overnight in the refrigerator then allow to sit out on the counter for 30 minutes to lose fridge chill before cooking as usual.
Alternatively, freeze cooked naans and allow to defrost before putting in the toaster to freshen up.
If using a vegan alternative for the dairy ingredients, we've found that soy works best.
