Crispy Sumac and Nigella Seed Chickpeas
Chickpeas are high in dietary fibre which helps to promote a healthy gut as well as magnesium for for strong bones. They are also particularly tasty when roasted until crispy with zingy sumac and aromatic nigella seeds, making them perfect for garnishing salads or simply snacking on.

Ingredients
Method
Gather your ingredients and preheat the oven to 200Β°C or 180Β°C fan.
In a large roasting tray, combine the chickpeas with olive oil, dried oregano, sesame seeds, garlic powder and nigella seeds. Season well with salt and pepper then roast for 30 - 40 minutes, shaking the tray halfway, until golden and crispy.
Remove the chickpeas from the oven and mix with the sumac.
