Notes

Tip: Chipotle paste is made from smoked, dried and pureed jalapeño chillies. It has become increasingly widely available, and can be found online if your local supermarket doesn’t have it.  Once opened, a jar keeps in the fridge for several months and can be used to add smoky spice to soups and stews.
Spice levels vary from brand to brand so be sure to taste and use the amount that tastes best to you.
