Rhubarb and Pear Bircher

About this recipe

This is a beautifully balanced breakfast dish with contrasting sweet and  sour flavours from the pear and rhubarb respectively. It delivers a wonderful flavour, plenty of fibre and phytonutrients and the chai blend adds a touch of warming spice.

Shop this recipe:

  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 100g Rhubarb (finely diced)
  • 80g Rolled Oats (or gluten free alternative)
  • 150g Grated pear 
  • 1 tsp Chai Spice (can also  use cinnamon)
  • 100g Probiotic Yoghurt (or non dairy yoghurt)
  • 200g Milk (or non dairy fortified milk)
  • 20g Pistachios, chopped

Combine all the ingredients into a bowl overnight, apart from the pistachios

Drizzle with a little honey and garnish with pistachios before serving
