5 Nut and Seed Oats

About this recipe

A delicious high fibre breakfast packed with nuts and seeds that are great sources of protein, calcium and minerals  – like magnesium – that are brilliant for heart health. 

Shop this recipe:

  • 2 tbsp Sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp Hazelnuts (roughly chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Shelled hemp seeds
  • 1 Handful of Oats
  • 1 Tsp chai spice mix (or ground cinnamon)
  • 1 Tbsp milled flax seeds
  • 300ml Nut milk or boiling water 
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

Add sunflower seeds, hazelnuts, hemp seeds and oats to a dry saucepan on medium heat and toast them for 5 minutes

Add 300mls milk or hot water and the spices to the pan and simmer for another 5 minutes 

Add maple syrup and serve with flax on top
